Information we process

MCQPREP processes account information such as your name, email address, account identifier, authentication provider, role, and token balance. When you use study tools, it processes uploaded PDFs, filenames, file size and page count, selected tool settings, generated results, usage metrics, timestamps, and limited technical or security information needed to operate and protect the service.

Theme and accent preferences are stored in your browser. Temporary workflow information and generated results may also be kept in browser session storage.

How and why information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, validate and store PDFs, generate requested study materials, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, provide support, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on applicable law, the legal bases are performance of the user agreement, legitimate interests in operating and securing MCQPREP, consent where required, and compliance with law.

Providers and AI processing

Supabase provides authentication, database services, and private PDF storage. When you request generation, MCQPREP sends the relevant PDF and instructions through OpenAI’s API to the configured OpenAI model. Hosting infrastructure processes requests and operational logs, and Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in. Providers receive information only as needed to perform their services under their applicable agreements and safeguards.

MCQPREP does not sell personal information and does not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. AI is used to create requested study material, not to make legal, credit, employment, admissions, or similarly significant decisions about you.

Google user data

If you choose Google Sign-In, MCQPREP receives only the basic profile information authorized through the sign-in flow: your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. This information is used to authenticate you, create or locate your MCQPREP account, display your profile, secure your session, and provide your private workspace.

MCQPREP does not request or access Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar events, contacts, or your Google password. Google sign-in data is not sold, used for advertising, or transferred to unrelated third parties. It is shared with Supabase only as required to provide authentication and account services, and may be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Validated PDFs are sanitized and stored in a private Supabase Storage bucket. Account uploads remain available until deleted. Files moved to Trash are scheduled for permanent deletion after approximately 48 hours. Unclaimed guest uploads expire after approximately 24 hours. Account and security records are retained while needed to provide the service and afterward only for reasonable backup, security, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

Deletion from backups and provider logs may take longer than deletion from active systems. Information subject to a valid legal hold, security investigation, or statutory obligation may be retained until that requirement ends.

Security and international transfers

Controls include private storage, signed upload flows, ownership checks, server-only administrative credentials, authentication rate limits, PDF validation and sanitization, and rejection of active PDF content. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information outside your country; where required, transfers will rely on recognized legal safeguards.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; withdraw consent; appeal a denied request; or complain to a data-protection authority. Identity verification and lawful exceptions may apply. You may delete individual PDFs through the library and may request deletion of your account through the operator’s published support channel.

Cookies and contact

MCQPREP uses necessary authentication cookies to maintain secure sessions. Local and session storage support preferences and active workflows; they are not used for cross-site advertising. Privacy questions or rights requests should be sent through the support channel published by the MCQPREP operator and should identify the account email and requested action without including passwords or API keys.
